Being Taught From My Betting Failures

1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering online or at land based casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you start to track your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the harder you try the faster you lose.

When you see that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, trust me, this method RARELY ever functions. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount set to the side before beginning your play. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different cup. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is online or at a brick and mortar casino, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, a different time.

Remember, betting should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, do not even start.
